CBA Regional Concert Band Contest – March 6, 2013. The Loveland HS Wind Symphony received straight 1’s at CBA Concert Band Regional Contest at Fossil Ridge HS. The ensemble performed Paris Sketches by Martin Ellerby and Variations on a Korean Folksong by John Barnes Chance. The band received scores that were two points from a perfect score.
Congratulations to the LHS Wind Symphony on being selected to perform at the CBA State Festival in Fort Collins, CO on April 15 at 3:45 PM!

CU – Boulder Honor Band – March 1-2, 2013. Four students were featured from LHS, including: Cort Roberts, Nathan Larson, David Leech, and Alan Moy. The students traveled with Mr. Freesen to Boulder and spent two days rehearsing with renowned conductor, Dr. Joseph Missal from Oklahoma State University. We hope to have more students audition next year!
