Congratulations to the LHS Crimson Regiment on their performances at the Utah State Marching Competition and the BOA Regionals in St. George, Utah.
The Crimson Regiment earned a score of 84.45, their highest of the season in their exhibition performance at the Utah State Marching Competition on Friday night.
During the preliminaries at the Bands of America Regional Comppetition, the Crimson Regiment caption awards for “Outstanding Musical Performance”, ” Outstanding Visual Effect”, and “Outstanding Genera Effect” as well as 1st place in the AA division. Their preliminary score placed them within the top five of all the bands at the competition, securing a spot in the finals where they took 5th place with a score of 77.30.
Two other Colorado bands, Centaurus High School and Rampart High School made it into Finals and placed 9th and 10th, respectively. Another Colorado school, Montezuma-Cortez High School won 1st place in A competition.
