Ian Sawyer

Ian Sawyer is a professional trumpet player and educator residing in Loveland, Colorado. Ian serves as Second Trumpet with the Cheyenne Symphony and enjoys an active freelance schedule, performing everything from orchestral works to musical theater. He has also played with the Fort Collins Symphony and The Villages Philharmonic and has shared the stage with Arturo Sandoval, Dave Grusin, Chris Potter, Rachel Barton Pine, Ricardo Morales and more. Ian maintains a private studio and has had students perform in the Colorado All-State Band, NoCo Honor Band, CU Honor Band as well as gain entry into music degree programs across the state.
