Congratulations to Lane Allbee on accepting a contract to one of the premier world class drum and bugle corps: the Blue Knights. This will be Lane’s first with the Knights.
World Class corps can have up to 150 members. Students in World Class corps are primarily college-age with some high school involvement. Most corps from this class start spring training in late May for three weeks, followed by an intensive tour schedule – from mid-June to early August -traveling more than 10,000 miles over the course of the summer while performing at more than 35 sanctioned events.
The competition seasons ends in Indianapolis, where the DCI World Championships will be held August 7 – 9.
