A message from our Band Booster President, Steven Foss, regarding the 2013/2014 Board Election Results
I want to express my gratitude to all who were able to attend the LHS Band Boosters Annual Meeting and Marching Show Reveal on Tuesday, April 23rd. I’d also like to thank Mr. Freesen and Mr. Humphrey again for a fantastic 2012-2013 band year on behalf of all the Band Boosters! I believe we’re all very excited about next year’s marching show, “Contraption,” and l look forward to supporting its success.
I would like to announce the results of the LHS Band Boosters annual election for our Board of Directors. Elections are conducted per Article IV, Paragraph 5 of the Loveland High School Band Boosters Bylaws, which state “Voting. All acts and resolutions of the members shall be deemed adopted upon a favorable vote of a majority of the votes cast by members present, including all received proxies, qualified to vote. Members holding one-tenth of the votes entitled to be cast on the matter shall constitute a quorum.” We received 152 completed ballots from the members present which constitute approximately 30% of our membership.
The new board term is effective upon their election until June 1st of the following year. The results are as follows:
