2017 LHS Symphonic Band Camp

On February 3rd and 4th, the students in the LHS Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band will be attending the 2017 LHS Symphonic Band Camp. The LHS Symphonic Band Camp is a unique experience that allows our students to work with world class conductors and clinicians in preparation for Colorado Bandmasters Association’s regional competition. It’s an opportunity that most high school students do not have and we’re fortunate to have the reputation that allows us to bring in high quality guest artists through-out the year.

The LHS Symphonic Band Camp will feature two guest conductors who will work with the students during the camp. Dr. Shelley Jagow from Wright State University in Ohio will be conducting the LHS Wind Symphony, and Mr. Casey Cropp will be conducting the LHS Symphonic Band. Mr Cropp was the director of bands for Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Co for 26 years.

Dr. Jagow and Mr. Cropp will conduct the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band in a concert at the end of the Symphonic Band Camp. The concert will be at 4:00p.m. on February 4th, 2017.
